Kaely Quinn, Profiler Book 2
Fire Storm by Nancy Mehl is the second in the Kaely Quinn Profiler Series. I really like the first book, Mind Games and in this second book, Kaely goes to visit with her mother who is in treatment for cancer. This second book has suspense and a case to solve, but there are also conflicts Kaely has with her mom. Her brother Jason has asked Kaely to put aside her hurt feelings in the fragile family relationship and come help him care for Marcie as she undergoes an experimental treatment. During this family crisis, Kaely gets drawn into a case of finding an arsonist in the town of Darkwater, NE. How many people will die before she can understand the motives and pull together a profile of the person responsible? I enjoy this series and look forward to the next book.
