Rona Halsall THe Honeymoon...Secrets, Lies, and Murder

The Honeymoon by Rona Halsall left me feeling aggravated with Chloe!   Dan brings his mother in for physical therapy and Chloe is her therapist. Chole experiences a mad crush on Dan and agrees to go out with him that very evening. They get married within two months!  Chloe and Dan both kept secrets, and that resulted in a lack of trust between them. She was constantly second-guessing Dan's motives.  Chloe seems to be a worrier. She was flip-flopping between her suspicions of Dan and then her willingness to make excuses. I felt Chloe was socially immature and had made some very impulsive choices which led to more doubt and worry in her family and about Dan. I tried to enjoy the story, but I honestly felt Chloe was missing something in her character. I could not feel compassion for her because of her impetuous decisions. The thoughts Chloe had were repetitive and caused stress and confusion rather than resolving any problems. As it turned out Chloe and Dan were both deceptive, negligent, and killers.
