Calra Kovach Her Pretty Bones A thriller you can not stop reading!

Her Pretty Bones (Detective Gina Harte #3) by author Carla Kovach follows up with a new case for Gina. Although this is the third book of this series, it is easy to understand as a stand-alone suspense mystery. I did recognize some characters from the previous book, which made this of more interest. Gina Harte is called in to investigate when a young girl falls from the back of a white van onto the road. The driver of the truck happens to see the girl hit the pavement and he brings his truck to a quick stop and calls for emergency services. Did the girl jump from the van, fall from the van, or was she tossed out of the van? Knowing the answer to these questions will help Gina determine what is happening when another young girl is found in a shallow grave a couple of days later. There is also a parallel narrative from a girl in distress and danger within this investigation. As you get into the plot of the book the reader will find there is a flawed humane and very distressing reason the girls are missing and are found later in an abused condition. While Gina is following leads and searching for clues will time run out for Miley/Christina?
