Bring Them Home by author D S Butler is the first in the detective series with DS Karen Hart. Two little girls walk away from school one afternoon on a secret adventure and meet someone in the woods. Sian and Emily do not return home that evening and are reported missing. DS Hart is instantly alert to the seriousness of the missing girls as the cold evening closes in on the search. She is remembering the disappearance of a young woman over a year ago, Amy Fisher, which is still unsolved. DS Hart has a feeling about a family with secrets and a large farm, and she just can not let her instinct go unchecked! I look forward to reading more in this series!
