The Wife Before Me by Laura Elliot is a gripping thriller which will have you reading way past your bedtime! I enjoyed the book and the twisting plot which will stir up emotions in the heart of any woman who has been dominated by an obsessive and abusive partner or spouse. There are several character stories which are interwoven into the whole of the book. As you read, there are characters you will love, some you will like, and one you will want to ...uhmmm...kill! An engrossing thriller I thoroughly enjoyed, although I really hated Amelia and Elena had to endure so much pain and abuse.
