Run and Hide by Alan McDermott is a new Eva Driscoll series which I am so excited to share with readers! I enjoyed this book and the interwoven plot between the secret cover-ups among government entities and the power hungry elite. In every society worldwide it is always the rich and powerful who control the people. Eva knows her brother's suicide was murder. She begins to investigate the deaths of other members of his unit while he was in Afghanistan protecting a secret field of opiate producing poppies for the government. The unit was told this field of opiates would be used for medicinal purposes for wounded soldiers. What a lie!
A very good non-stop action thriller! There is a shoot-out and high-speed chase which is ....well WOW! Read the book!
