The Ghostwriter by author Alessandra Torre hooked me from the very beginning and left me almost sobbing! I will not post spoilers but there are some twists in the story which are surprising. There are some humorous scenes because of Helena's nature and personality toward other people.
The story is based on interviews this author had with Helena Ross before she died. It is a story of twisted fate interfering with the best of plans for survival. It has been two days since I read this book and I am still thinking about it, an indication of how much the book affected my emotions.
