Matthew FitzSimmons and COLD HARBOR....Gibson Vaughn...What Has Happened???

Cold Harbor by Matthew FitzSimmons is the third in the Gibson Vaughn crime thriller series. Cold Harbor can be read as a stand-alone book if you do not have The Short Drop or Poison Feather. It is great as a suspense thriller! You cannot help but want Gibson to find his way…but, I won’t post spoilers. I want you to read the book.

The book opens with Gibson in solitary confinement forced upon him with no explanations. He has lost track of the time and seems to have developed a psychosis which allows him to see and speak with his father Duke. He is also visited by Suzanne Lombard or as he called her, Bear. When she gently leads him from his cell he sees her as she was in their childhood days, a small girl who loved him as a brother. If only he could have saved her. She is not really there, but the memories and dreams of her help Gibson cope with the solitude of this cell. He can think of maybe two people who could have pulled his abduction and imprisonment off, either Damon Washburn or Calista Dauplaise. After eighteen months suddenly he is released!
Now we begin an intriguing tale of secrets, lies, and revenge with friends and enemies from the past, all carefully woven together in an exciting action thriller. In some scenes I wanted to yell, “Gibson, don’t do this!”.  Once I started reading, I could not stop. Grab your copy today, it’s great!
