Enigma by Catherine Coulter is a page-turner !!

(Thank you Netgalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book for an honest review)
Enigma by Catherine Coulter is a page-turner which I could not stop reading once I started. We join agents Savich and Sherlock for another time sensitive thriller which has the reader’s full attention.
It is a fast paced and very intriguing story which uncovers genome research for the purpose of repairing aging cells and restoring a limited measure of health to the test subject.  Lister Maddox is a scientist who has no hesitancy to test his miracle drug on people who were deceived in the purpose of the drug, therefore we have Enigma 1, 2, and who will be the third?
Kara Moody has no idea who the person was that drugged her at a party and now she is pregnant. She had to leave home and is trying to make it on her own as she waits for the baby to be born. Why did a “Crazy” man invade  her home and warn her that he was trying to save her?  Her joy of motherhood is crashed when her newborn is stolen from the hospital. Who wanted her baby? Did ‘John Doe’ know  a truth so scary that he was willing to die to try to protect Kara’s baby?
We will follow along with Cam Wittier and Jack Cabot through the Daniel Boone National Forest as they attempt to track down an escaped prisoner who shows no mercy to those who cross his path.  There is also an element of political deception which affects national security due to the extreme actions of a father trying to cover up a murder. The story interweaves several plots to keep the reader alert and completely engrossed in the book.  Read and Enjoy!
