Lake Season by author Denise Hunter is a precious and heart-touching inspirational romance. Molly and Levi are siblings who make the choice to give up their personal plans to accommodate Grace, their youngest sister during a time of their greatest grief. Their parents had been renovating the one-hundred-year-old home for an inn before they were killed in a horrible accident. A week before the scheduled opening of the inn, Adam Bradford, an anonymous author is in Bluebell seeking a place to stay as he writes his next novel. He meets with Molly and assists her in assembling an accent table for the lobby when she initially confuses him for a handyman. I won't post spoilers but there is a wonderful mystery in the book which leads to a very unexpected connection to Bluebell for Adam.
A grieving family, a lost love letter, and a writers' quest all make an awesome link to bring closure for unforgotten loves.
